Merging Hand Painted Art with Graphic Design

I adore butterflies, and flowers, and many of my paintings feature them. For this latest series, I created

large, luminous works of art by "cutting and pasting" various elements that I have hand painted and arranging them

into vibrant, kaleidoscopic compositions of botanical motifs and butterflies.

Is a butterfly an insect? Is a butterfly a bird? Does it sing a simple song? Or a sound that can be heard?

Is it not a pretty moth? If it flutters in the night? Does it have a little tongue? Or teeth that chew and bite?

If it lands upon your shoulder...Is that nice, or good, or rare?

Is that meant to being you luck?..Or should you even care?

Where does it go in Winter?..Must it fly fast or slow?

How far does it have to flutter?..And how does it know where to go?

Will I ever understand?.. Will I ever know the why?

Will I ever understand...the world of a butterfly?
